What is a Hydrafacial?
HydraFacial MD is one of the most cutting-edge non-surgical skin resurfacing procedures available today. The HydraFacial technique is derived from a more common non-invasive skin procedure known as microdermabrasion. Unlike microdermabrasion, however, HydraFacial MD doesn’t use micro-crystals to exfoliate the skin. Instead, a spiral tip is employed that creates a vortex effect, removing the skin’s impurities while simultaneously hydrating it. This ability to hydrate the skin following dermabrasion is what sets the HydraFacial MD apart from other treatments. The results of the procedure are immediate, and there is no downtime, allowing patients to resume everyday activities right after the procedure.
